#1: Personalised flights
The sound of annoyed vegetarians arguing with stewards about a pre-booked meal that hasn’t arrived, should soon be a thing of the past as airlines are beginning to use data to personalise the in-flight customer experience. As ever, the debate about too much data being revealed and traded, surfaces in this piece from the Wall Street Journal.

#2: Facebook is no longer cool
UK teens moving to networks where their parents are not; where advertising is minimal; and, where their content is less permanent, are trends (although not new for one and two) that I feel will continue. Young people saying goodbye to Facebook will further complicate the media landscape in the future as these teens will be comfortable with multiple membership networks.  

#3: Mobile – again
Here’s a long but very insightful presentation into the drivers, players, current state and future predictions of mobile technology. The points about scale and mobile acting as the glue between more traditional media are probably the most important takeaways.
