Tech Track 100 – is your company one of the fastest-growing private tech businesses in the UK?
Do you lead a fast-growing business within the tech, media or telecoms sectors that has the potential to become a market leader? If the answer is yes, then why not nominate your company for The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table?
Since 2001, The Sunday Times has published an annual league table ranking Britain’s 100 private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years. Achieving a place on the league table demonstrates the growth and potential of your company to investors and peers, as well as current and future customers and clients.
Who can enter the Tech Track 100?
- Independent tech* companies that are UK registered, unquoted, and not subsidiaries
- Companies that have achieved sales of at least £250,000 in the base year (2015 or 2016), and sales of at least £5m in the latest year (2018 or 2019)
A record 78 companies on the 2018 league table secured external equity investment, including cybersecurity developer Darktrace, which had raised more than $230m and was valued at $1.65bn upon publication last September. BBOXX, which has deployed 150,000 solar home systems across 35 countries, was one of 72 Tech Track firms active overseas. The dominant sector on the league table was software, with 27 companies featuring, including Thoughtonomy, whose AI platform automates functions previously undertaken by staff. TransferWise, which recently became Europe’s biggest fintech unicorn with a valuation of $3.5bn, was among a record 22 fintech companies to feature on the table.
