Running a small business is rewarding but also tough. It’s often just you and a small team, and that’s assuming you’re not just your business’s only employee. Working days can be filled with difficult decisions but when you hit your goals, you want to share your achievements to the world.
It’s why we’ve launched our new regular feature: Small Business Stars. These films and interviews give small and brave business owners their chance to shine in the spotlight but also shares their experiences, both good and bad, as well as celebrating their achievements.
One of the best ways a small business owner can grow and improve is to learn from others who’ve been through similar situations. There’s no right way to do it, but it’s often helpful and reassuring to know how and why other small businesses took risks and how they overcame them.
Small Business Stars is a resource for owners to learn from each other but also provides a platform for small businesses – from the one-person traders to the growing enterprises – to share their successes with the world.
Because, to us, all small businesses are stars.
Out first small business star is Vicky Matthews, co-founder of PA service Pink Spaghetti. You can read her interview here.
