The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the latest three years.

As it’s been running for 15 years – with the 2015 league table announced last month – it’s the right time to look back at the developments that have taken place over that time, both within the Tech Track 100 league table and in the wider UK tech industry.

What’s staggering is the growth in total turnover of the 100 companies featured in the league table each year, which has gone from £414 million in 2001, to £2.4 billion in 2015.

The infographic below charts the significant developments yearly by sector, product launch and total turnover of Tech Track 100 companies. The question is: what will next year’s big development be?
