We are pleased to announce that we have appointed DAS and their partner CET, as our new Home Emergency provider. The partnership will give your clients the option to report their Home Emergency claims via an online portal.
If your client needs to make a Home Emergency claim they will now be able to access a Hiscox branded app that will allow them to:
- Register and manage their claim online
- Track the progress of their claim
- View details of the contractor appointed to their Home Emergency and track the contractor’s arrival
Chris Parker, Vendor Relationship Manager at Hiscox UK said: “In 2019, Hiscox home insurance customers made just over 1,500 Home Emergency claims. 80% of those claims were for plumbing, drainage, boiler, heating or security issues. Our 24-hour home emergency cover, included as standard on our Hiscox 606 home insurance policy, gives your clients swift assistance for unforeseen household emergencies.”

Existing customers will transfer to our new partner as their policies renew over the next 12 months.
