We are delighted to have won a 2021 Consumer Intelligence Award after being voted as one of top 10 insurers for Claims Satisfaction – home insurance by householders.
More than 48,000 consumers were asked for their views on the insurers from whom they have bought insurance making it the largest independent survey of its kind.
The awards are also the only industry scheme decided exclusively by drivers and householders, designed to reward the companies who have delivered exemplary service to their customers across a range of key areas.
Ian Hughes, Chief Executive of Consumer Intelligence said: “Our awards are different from other industry awards for two major reasons. Firstly, no-one in the industry gets to vote in these awards and secondly, even the customers that are voting in the awards don’t know that they’re voting – they are simply telling us what they think about their insurer. This makes our awards totally unique and entirely authentic.”
“As an insurer, you can’t influence the results by submitting a well-worded application or by taking me out for dinner. You simply must do an amazing job for your customers all day, every day, 365 days a year. This is what delivers great outcomes in these awards.”
Tim Slattery, Personal Lines Underwriting Manager at Hiscox, said “We were thrilled to receive the 2021 Consumer Intelligence, Claims Satisfaction – home insurance, award. The award recognises the excellent level of customer care Hiscox staff deliver to claimants. When things go wrong, we make the claims process as fast and as simple as possible, it’s what our customers expect.”
Research from Consumer Intelligence shows that consumers are over five times more likely to select an insurer who wins an award based on real customer feedback, as opposed to a company who has won an award based on the opinions of industry experts.
