The Royal Yacht Squadron celebrates its bicentenary in 2015. Hiscox is proud to partner with the Squadron and support their bicentennial activities.
The sponsorship ties in with the formation of Hiscox MGA and brings opportunities for the team to be in direct communication with some of the world’s best sailors.
The sponsorship includes various rights including attendance at the Review of the Fleet which took place in June 2015 in the presence of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh who is Admiral of the Fleet.
Annually the team racing winners will be presented with the Hiscox Cup, the first being awarded in July 2015 as part of the Bicentennial International Regatta.
In addition to supporting the Bicentennial celebrations, Hiscox has created a longer term relationship with the Squadron by supporting their Youth Academy. The Hiscox logo can be seen on their fleet of J70 yachts.
