What am I covered for?

Our comprehensive range of benefits include:

  • Generous limits for key risks such as medical expenses (up to £10m), cancellation and curtailment (up to £10,000) and personal liability (up to £2m)

  • Emergency evacuation costs (up to £10,000) following unforeseen natural catastrophes (e.g. volcanic eruption or flood) or political unrest

  • Cover for your dependants under 23 years of age who are in full time education - even when traveling independently

  • Disruption of your trip as a consequence of strike action, bad weather and even volcanic ash clouds

  • A very wide range of sporting and other leisure activities including scuba diving, sailing, skiing and other winter sports. For the more adventurous, white water rafting, cave tubing and elephant trekking are all included. We can even extend your cover to include more leisure activities.

  • Save money when you rent a car abroad. We cover your collision damage waiver up to £1,500 for each short-term (31 day maximum) car hire. With most car hire companies charging premiums for European hires of £10 - £20 a day (depending upon make/model and the country involved) to reduce their standard car insurance excess, we expect to help you save money with this policy extension.

  • Losses of up to £5,000 following the insolvency of an independent (i.e. not a package or inclusive holiday) travel or accommodation provider

Stranded Passenger – looking after you during delays

However well you’ve planned your trip, sometimes things are simply out of your control. Delayed or cancelled flights are unfortunate but it doesn’t make them any less frustrating.

The good news is we’ll help to ease the strain.

As one of our policyholders, you have access to a network of more than 800 executive lounges at airports around the world. If your flight is delayed by more than 2 hours, we automatically send an access code to your phone so you can take advantage of the facilities, with our compliments, while you wait.

All you need to do is take a couple of minutes to register your flight and passenger details at least 24 hours before departure. You’ll find access details with your policy documentation.


360 Assistance service

Our 360 Assistance service (external link) gives you access to important security and medical information on most countries around the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. An easy to read country summary, vaccination, important contact numbers and other information helps you plan your itinerary and we will keep you updated with email or SMS alerts. Supported by our team of travel insurance experts, this package gives you peace of mind whenever and wherever you need it.


Who is covered?

Our standard policy covers:

  • Any person aged up to 69 years

  • Dependants in full-time education up to 23 years old, whether travelling with the main policyholder(s) or not.

The maximum age limit for our annual travel product is 69. If you exceed this age limit or need a specialist policy for other reasons, such as complex medical conditions, then please call 0330 660 0751 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday or between 10am to 4pm on Saturday and our partner Millstream will be able to provide an individual travel insurance quotation.
