Exhibition cover for exhibitors and standholders

When you organise an exhibition stand, you’re likely to have other things on your mind than your exposure to legal liabilities. Our exhibition cover, specially designed for exhibitors, provides valuable protection for your company and investment, leaving you to get on with running your stand. Exhibition insurance includes:
  • Cancellation –  if the event at which you’ve arranged for space as an exhibitor is cancelled for reasons beyond your control, you’re covered for losses up to the sum insured.
  • Property damage - cover for loss of or damage to business property within the space allocated to you at the event, which you own or for which you’re legally responsible (for example, hired equipment). This includes property supplied to you by the organiser of the event and £10,000 cover for damage to the venue, without proof of negligence.
  • Public and employers’ liability – cover if you face a claim for compensation payable to a third party, following actual or alleged accidental bodily injury or damage to their property, if the incident happens during your event. This also includes injuries from food poisoning caused by food or drink served as hospitality by you. You can choose from £2m or £5m public liability cover, and can purchase an additional £10m employers’ liability cover for your legal liability for injury to your own and casual staff or volunteers.
As with all insurance policies, some exclusions apply. Please see the Hiscox Exhibitor Insurance summary of cover and policy wordings for more detailed information.
