In order to qualify for the Ring Video Doorbell 3 and Ring Chime devices, members must have taken out a Hiscox Home insurance policy before 14th  November 2020 and must not have cancelled their policy within the first 30 days of their policy.  The Ring devices will be delivered to you 30 days after your policy inception date.

Hiscox is solely liable for this offer for the Ring Video Doorbell 3 and Ring Chime devices, and Thames Distribution Limited, who is an authorised distributor for Ring LLC, is solely liable for the manufacture, dispatch and supply of the devices to you and any product faults. Any faulty products can be returned to Thames Distribution within one year. The Ring doorbell device that is being offered is the Ring Video Doorbell 2 which allows allows users to watch over their home in crystal-clear 1080HD video, and see, hear and speak to visitors from anywhere via the Ring app. With instant mobile alerts and two-way talk, you can answer the door from your smartphone, tablet and PC.

The Ring Chime device that is being offered connects to your Ring devices as described by Ring, including your Ring Video Doorbell 2. The Ring Chime plugs into any standard power outlet and connects to your Ring devices, allowing you to get notifications in any room of your home, even if you’re not near your phone.

The Ring Video Doorbell 3 includes a quick-release rechargeable battery, so you can charge your Ring Video Doorbell 3 without removing the device.

If you wish to upgrade your Ring Video Doorbell 3 device to either the Video Doorbell Pro or the Video Doorbell Elite, you will be expected to pay the difference in price, plus any installation costs. The same applies if you wish to upgrade your Ring Chime to the Ring Chime Pro.

There are a limited number of Ring Video Doorbell 3 and Ring Chime bundles available as part of this home insurance package. Devices will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

By registering your Ring Video Doorbell device with Ring, for example on the Ring app, you will be registering the device directly with Ring LLC, who is also the manufacturer of Ring products.  Hiscox Underwriting Ltd and Ring LLC are two separate companies therefore by registering the device directly with Ring LLC you are consenting and agreeing to their terms and conditions.

Hiscox will be provided with anonymised activation data from Ring LLC. Hiscox will not receive any other information about the usage of these devices.

You must have Wi-Fi connectivity in your home with a minimum upload speed of 1 Mbps, however 2Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. Users also need access to a smart phone to apply for this offer. 

The Ring Chime device plugs into standard power outlet requires 4 Mbps.

Only 1 Ring Video Doorbell and Chime bundle applicable per household and the devices must be registered to the insured address.

The Ring bundle will be sent to you for free and will belong to you. It will include a rechargeable battery pack and two faceplates.
