Professional indemnity for recruitment consultants

For your recruitment consultant clients, we have designed a professional indemnity policy which has two cover options:

• vicarious, which covers your client for work done by contractors they place
• non-vicarious, which does not cover them for work done by their contractors.

In addition to all the standard features of our Hiscox Professional Indemnity cover, our bespoke wording for recruitment consultants includes cover for:

• negligence or breach of duty of care: for giving bad advice or service such as the placement of a candidate in an unsuitable role
• privacy: for breach of confidence or misuse of information such as your client sending a CV to their client where the candidate currently works
• dishonesty: if an employee of your client steals money from one of their clients.
