It’s easy to overlook the fact that some property losses might not be covered by your existing business insurance. For example, equipment could be damaged in transit, or stolen from the venue.
- We can cover both your property, and property you may be legally liable for such as hired marquees or audio visual equipment
- We can also cover you for damage to the venue’s fixtures and fittings.
We can provide a limit of cover for standard property such as tables and chairs, along with individual limits of cover for specific high value items such as laptops, audiovisual equipment or money.
Can you cover accidental damage to property?
Yes, we can cover damage to your property without there having to be negligence on your part.
Can you cover works of art or personal possessions within an event insurance policy?
Unfortunately not. We would suggest you look to extend any existing insurance you have for your event. Full details of the types of items that we are unable to cover are included within our policy wordings.
Can you provide a property policy on its own without any other types of cover such as cancellation or public liability?
Unfortunately not. We can only include property cover if you also include cover for cancellation and/or public liability.
