Our treatment and professional liability insurance policy is designed for complementary therapists and beauty therapists who provide their services at client’s homes or in their own treatment rooms. There are a wide range of eligible activities, including:
- Ear piercing
- Eyebrow plucking and threading
- Body wrapping
- Manicure and pedicure
But we can only provide cover for the activities that you select and are qualified to deliver. For this reason, it’s important that if you select all of the services you provide and that if you start to offer new or different treatments over the course of your insurance policy that you let us know and see if we can add the activities to your insurance.
There are some treatments and activities that are not suitable for our treatment and professional liability insurance, including:
- Botox and dermal fillers
- Laser hair removal
- Invasive medical procedures.
Our beauty and complementary therapist liability insurance can be bought as a standalone product, or to protect you against claims of accidental injury or damage not relating to your treatments but as a result of your business, for example a client slipping on a spilled drink when in your treatment room, we offer public liability insurance. This would protect your business against the cost of defending or settling a claim for compensation from a client or member of the public if they suffer an injury or damage as a result of your business.
