Cover tailored to their needs

No event is too small or too big – we can cover a one-off breakfast meeting or a global convention programme with thousands of delegates. We can also provide annual cover if your client is managing a programme of multiple events.

We offer a flexible portfolio of key insurances including event cancellation and disruption cover, property cover and liability, that can be tailored to meet the precise needs of your client's event.

Event cancellation and disruption cover

Key features include:

  • Cancellation, abandonment, curtailment, or rearrangement including to another time or place
  • Cover available on both an expenses only option or full revenue depending on your clients’ needs.
  • Terrorism extensions available
  • National mourning cover is included for events where the death or funeral occurs in that country and coincides with the dates of the event (persons under 70)

Your client can also choose to add the following options:

  • Adverse weather cover for events or activities outdoors or in temporary structures or marquees
  • Reduced attendance of attendees and/or delegates
  • Non-appearance (key featured persons)
  • National mourning (beyond the standard cover).

Property cover

This can cover anything from furniture to audio visual equipment and marquees, and even money.

Key features include:

  • Property owned, borrowed or hired for the event
  • Transit to, from and while at the event (including loading and unloading)
  • Terrorism cover available
  • Continuing hire charges cover for hired equipment.

Events liability insurance

Key features include:

  • Public liability cover up to  £10 million (or other currency equivalents)
  • Employers’ liability up to £10 million (or other currency equivalents)
  • Indemnity to directors and employees
  • Liability for damage to venues
  • Indemnity to venue owners or operators
  • Damage to third party property.
