In research undertaken by specialist small business insurer Hiscox, the results found that 82% of female entrepreneurs questioned did not study business or management topics at school believing that their business talent was an innate skill, with a just under a fifth of female entrepreneurs questioned (18%) having not obtained higher qualifications after leaving school.
SMEs move from boom-bust to trust

London, UK (25th August): SMEs value trust and loyalty above all else from their ideal company board according to a new SME study out by specialist business insurer Hiscox*. Nearly half of the SME owners polled cited trust and loyalty combined (48%) as the most important attributes of a perfect board team, followed by direction and advice (20%) and business growth/financial management (17%).
Breach of contract is the top risk for tech companies
