Hiscox, a FTSE 250 company, is a leading international specialist insurance group headquartered in Bermuda. With over 100 years of underwriting experience, Hiscox covers a diverse portfolio of personal and commercial risks – from high value homes and fine art collections to kidnap and ransom, terrorism, aerospace, film production, small business and cyber risks.

Hiscox employs around 1000 staff with offices in 13 countries, catering for business underwritten locally, as well as larger, international business written through Lloyd's of London and Bermudian insurance markets. There are three main business areas of the Group – Hiscox Global Markets, Hiscox UK and Europe, and Hiscox International.

The future

Despite the credit crunch, we announced record interim pre-tax profits of £109.2 million in the first six months of 2008. And we have ambitious plans for the future, which you'll be a vital part of.
