Hiscox USA: Art and private client, professional indemnity and specialty commercial, regional media and technology, American Live Stock Insurance Company.

Hiscox International covers our offshore operations. Our headquarters are in Bermuda (we became domiciled there in December 2006). Along with London, it is another big market in which we underwrite catastrophe and volatile business. Our USA operation on the other hand, is looking to rapidly expand its retail business in a market with big growth potential. Having exceeded budgets for 2006, the USA plans to expand into a new range of specialist products. Guernsey, also underwriting in the retail sector, operates our kidnap and ransom cover (we handle over 70% of the world’s kidnap risk).
